Open only to legal U.S. residents (50 states + D.C.) age 18+ who became Scholar Genie members on or before September 15, 2026 and hold an active paid subscription (Basic, Pro, or MVP) at submission. Free trials alone do not qualify. One submission per entrant. Void where prohibited.

Start a paid Scholar Genie plan (Basic, Pro, or MVP) on or before September 15, 2026. Members who join after this date are not eligible.

250–500 words, on the prompt above. Due October 31, 2026.

Remain a paid member through November 30, 2026. Winner selected by judges on December 1, 2026.

The Prize

One $2,500 cash scholarship awarded as a single payment to the winner. Apply it to tuition, fees, books, supplies, or housing — your choice. Prize is reported on IRS Form 1099-MISC if required by law; winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes.
